3 | TOP WHALE BHC | 1-1-0 | 2 | ||
4 | XTREME | 0-2-0 | 4 |
Things went pretty much as expected in the first week of action. The only real surprise was the Nighthawks shutting out Top Whale 4-0 in the second game of the week. This came just two nights after narrowly losing their season-opener 4-3 to the two-time defending National Champion Savages. Safe to say, the 'Hawks are for real.

6 | RAGING BULLS | 0-2-0 | 3 |
The Walruses, in a very un-walrus-like fashion, have come storming out of the gates to start the 2019 season. They can boast of the divisions top two scorers, and have a third that is tied for third. Their 12 goals for tops the entire division, which includes a season-opening 8-2 thrashing of Team Pending. On the other end of the spectrum, both the Raging Bulls (who moved down from division 1) and Bar South (who ended last season with the highest win percentage in division 2) have yet to record their first wins.

9 | RUSH | 0-2-0 | 6 | ||
10 | LIBERTY TAX LIONS | 0-2-0 | 8 |
This division is going to be fun to watch. Ten very competitive teams who probably all have a legitimate shot to win on any given night. The fact that the Dirty Birds and Sharks currently sit 6 and 7 in these power-rankings prove exactly that. The Reapers and Smashville are off to a perfect 2-0 start, with the Reapers having to knock off the slightly more impressive competition. The Killer Bees are also 2-0, but one of their wins came by forfeit. The Liberty Tax Lions appear to be having early season attendance issues, that cost them one game for sure, and made things tough in their second against the Dirty Bird army.

Three games in four nights to kick things off for the teams in division 6. The Soldiers, and Doug Torrence (2-8-10) are turning back the clock, as the old boys are banking points early...picking up three straight wins to start the season on the strength of a 26-3 goal differential. The Farm Team, also undefeated, and also having allowed just three goals against...have probably faced a tougher schedule, but the nod in the Rankings goes to the team that averaged almost 9-goals per night. Wednesday night will see these two powerhouses square off. The Crown Royals are the only other team to have more than one win, and are led by division-leading scorer, Ryan Jevne. The Rockets looked good when their roster showed up, but that's only happened once so far. The 7C's are the only team who has failed to win a game, they came close Thursday night, but dropped a 8-6 decision to the Crown Royals...giving up an empty-netter with 13 seconds left in regulation.

7 | SPARTANS | 1-2-0 | 4 | ||
8 | BLACK ICE | 0-3-0 | NR |
The Silver Kings have flexed their muscles early. Led by the divisions top scorer, Cody Lawson, who is averaging 5 points per game...and goaltender Sean McFaul, who is a perfect 3-0...the Silver Kings are pacing the division with three quick wins to start the season. But newcomers, The Larry's, are hot on their heels. Both teams have scored 17 while surrendering just 9 through the opening week, the only problem for The Larry's is their opening night loss to the 7th place Spartans. Maybe it was just opening night jitters...as the Spartans have failed to register a win since. The Black Ice, another new team to BHE, has yet to pick up a win, although they gave the Silver Kings a scare Thursday night, when they erased an early 2-0 deficit to head into the half tied at 2. The Kings would kick off the second half with two straight goals before Black Ice responded with one of their own with 2:51 left on the clock. They would fail to score again, dropping a tight 4-3 decision to the top-ranked Silver Kings.

8 | PRESTIGE WORLD WIDE | 0-2-0 | NR |
Three teams are still perfect after week 1. Based on strength of schedule, and the fact that the legendary Terry Wong has surrendered just one goal through 80 minutes of play, YDP earns top-billing. But both the Rink Rats and Burger Kings are right there. Despite the GD Bulldogs sporting a whopping -17 goal differential, this is a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately scenario, as their last outing so them dispose of the 5th ranked GWOPS 5-4. The bottom three teams have each failed to earn their first W...with the newcomer, Prestige Worldwide being outscored an average of 9-3 per game.

Only two games in, and we're already down to just two perfect teams in the division. The Predators and Cobra Kai both sit at a perfect 2-0, while both the Huskies and Piranhas are 0-2. The Tigers sit in the 3-spot, having yet to lose in regulation. The remaining three teams are all holding 1-1 records at this point.

7 | MAD DOGS | 1-1-0 | 2 | ||
8 | THE NO DEKES | 0-2-0 | NR |
Early indications are that the Squids are as advertised. Going 2-0 against two teams ranked 3rd and 4th respectively is fairly impressive. In comparison, the Shockers 2-0 mark came against two teams ranked 6th and 8th. Both the Squids and Regulators put up 11 goals through the first two games, while Snakearm managed just 3. It's been a tough start to The No Dekes inaugural summer season (0-2), but on a positive note...they were in both games, losing 4-2 to the Shockers (with the last goal being scored with just 8 seconds remaining) and following that up with a close 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Mad Dogs.
